Mother of two Kelly Golder (30) is now an amazing yummy mummy after going down five clothes sizes with Cambridge more than a year ago.
5’7” Kelly has always struggled with her weight since her school days but having gained weight with both her pregnancies, she decided that she must lose the weight once and for all after a very depressing Christmas in 2007.
Kelly said: “I was the largest I’d ever been, a size 20 and I was too embarrassed to go out at Christmas in case I bumped into people I hadn’t seen for a while.”
To make matters worse Kelly went shopping with her mother to find a special outfit for a big party on New Years Eve (also her birthday), and could only fit in to a small selection of frumpy clothes from a well known plus size shop.
Kelly said: “It was then that I decided I was not going to be fat and thirty the following year. I just sobbed in the changing rooms; I couldn’t go on feeling like that.”
Kelly found her local Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant, Daphne Richards and hasn’t looked back. She has been maintaining her new slender size 10 figure for more than a year now and at the start of 2009 became a Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant herself.
Kelly now enjoys swimming, something she would have never dared to do before losing the weight and has much more energy to spend with her children.
On her Inspiration photo shoot, Kelly said: “Posing for the Inspiration pictures was a bit nerve wracking but it was the same bunch of people that I had met when I did The Sun’s Fit Squad last year and they soon put me at ease. It was great fun and I actually had a really great day out.”
